The PS2 probe measures the static pressure of the FAN Inlet module. Together with PS2 data and a whole host of other measurements in and around the engine, the D.E.E.C. (Digital Engine Electronic Control) ensures that the UFC or Unified Fuel Control works properly. The UFC ensures that the engine receives enough and perfectly regulated amount of fuel at all times.
